Himachal BJP prez Bindal announces new state team

Shimla: Gearing up for the parliamentary elections next year, Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal on Thursday announced his new team in the state. The office bearers include nine vice-presidents, three general secretaries, seven secretaries, 10 spokespersons, a treasurer, a media-in-charge and seven media co-incharge. Bindal team has former ministers Virender Kanwar, Rajeev Saizal and Govind Thakur, MLAs Pawan Kajal and Hansraj, former Mahila Morcha president Rashmidhar Sood, Payal Vaidya, Sanjeev Katwal and Rajiv Bhardwaj as vice-presidents; Rajya Sabha MP Sikandar Kumar, along Trilok Kapoor and Bihari Lal Sharma as general secretaries; MLA Vinod Kumar, Vishal Chauhan, Sanjay Thakur, Narendra Atri, Sumit Sharma, Daisy Thakur and Munish Chauhan as state secretaries; and Kamaljit Sood as treasurer. Rakesh Sharma, Mahendra Dharmani, Umesh Sharma, Baldev Tomar, Ajay Rana, Balbir Verma, Sandipani Bhardwaj, Vivek Sharma, Chetan Bragta and Vinod Thakur will work as party's state spokespersons while Karan Nanda has been made state media in-charge. Vandana Yogi has been appointed as Mahila Morcha president, former state secretary Tilak Raj as Yuva Morcha president, Pramod Thakur as new office secretary and Kiran Bawa and Sapna Kashyap as assistant office secretaries.
