Youth dies by suicide in Garhwa

Garhwa: Police on Friday morning recovered a body of a youth hanging from a tree in the local Rama Sahu High School ground. The deceased was identified as Divyanshu Kumar (19), a resident of Tandwa locality of Garhwa town.

Sunil Kumar Tiwari, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, said, “The deceased’s father, Babu Ram Prasad Gupta, has filed a complaint with the police station alleging that his son was murdered and his body was hanged from the tree. Prima facie it looks like suicide. Divyanshu was upset when he came to know about his girlfriend’s affair.”
