Two  killed in road accident  in Dumka
Dumka: Two men were killed, and one other was critically injured when their bike collided with another vehicle on the Dumka-Bhagalpur main road under Jama police station limits late on Tuesday night.The deceased were identified as Karan Manjhi and Sonu Kumar, both in their mid-twenties. While Karan was a resident of Kolhiya village, Sonu hailed from Katniya village, both under Jama police station limits. Tamtam Kumar, who was accompanying them, was admitted to Phulo Jhano Medical College and Hospital (PJMCH) with grave injuries.

Karan, Sonu and Tamtam were on a bike when they were hit by a vehicle near Bhurbhuri Bridge. Karan and Sonu was killed on the spot and Tamtam was flung to a side of the road. Locals informed the police about the incident.“An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway, and efforts are on to identify the fleeing vehicle,” said a police officer. The bodies were later taken for post-mortem examination.
