Dumka: A 15-year-old boy was killed when the sand-laden tractor he was driving overturned under Saraiyahat police station limits here on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Laxman Yadav, a resident of Belidhab village. The incident took place on Saraiyahat-Gadijhopa main road near Orabari.

Eyewitnesses informed the police that the speeding tractor veered into a roadside ditch and overturned after its driver lost control. Laxman was fell under the vehicle’s engine and was crushed to death instantly. A police team sent the body for post-mortem examination while the mangled tractor was brought to the police station, Saraiyahat OC Rajendra Yadav said.
