Ranchi Police Arrest Five Suspects Planning Subversive Activities, Seize Drugs and Pistol

Ranchi: Five miscreants planning subversive activities were arrested from a house located near Baba Hospital on the Ratu Road on Saturday, the city police said in a statement.The arrested were identified as Himanshu Yadav alias Lalu Yadav, Aniket Pathak, Nihal Pandey, Niraj Kumar, and Rahul Badaik.All the accused are residents of different areas in the city, police added.“A country-made pistol with ‘Made in USA’ inscribed on it and loaded with three cartridges was seized from Himanshu. A total of 35 packets of brown sugar were seized from other accused,” the statement read.Interrogation of the arrested are under way. Hunt is on for two others, who managed to escape from the spot, police said.
