Bokaro: A delegation of the district unit of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Monday met chief minister
Hemant Soren and handed over a memorandum seeking an overhaul of Bokaro’s Naya More bus stand as an inter-state terminal.
The delegation, which met Hemant at Bokaro airport, also demanded that the terminal be named after Dishom Guru Shibu Soren.

JMM city president Mantu Yadav said, “The project would improve passenger amenities, strengthen inter-state connectivity and boost trade, industry and employment in the region.” Chandankiyari MLA Umakant Rajak was also a part of the delegation. Notably, former CM Shibu and JMM patriarch Shibu died of a prolonged illness in Aug this year.
Hemant arrived here on a brief visit from Jamshedpur and left for Ranchi by road.
