Bodies found on rly tracks in Dumka
Patna, Feb 28 (IANS) A major railway accident was averted on Saturday morning in Bettiah, West Champaran district of Bihar, after a fracture was detected on the tracks near Kumar Bagh railway station.
Dumka: Two men, in their twenties, were mowed down by a train on the Godda-Hansdiha railway route on Saturday. Their bodies were spotted by locals by Babanheta and Chorbatia villages under Hansdiha police station limits. Hansdiha OC Ajit Kumar Yadav said the men could not be identified till late evening. Their bodies have been sent for the postmortem examination at Phulo Jhano Medical College and Hospital in Dumka.
