Raipur: Odisha defeated Jharkhand by 4-1 goals to claim the gold medal in the men's hockey final of the Khelo India Tribal Games at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday.
Jharkhand opened the scoring with an aggressive start, taking a 1-0 lead in the first quarter. Odisha responded in the second quarter, scoring two goals to gain a 2-1 advantage.
Odisha maintained control in the third quarter to extend their lead to 3-1. They added another goal in the final minutes of the match to seal a 4-1 victory.
Both teams displayed competitive play throughout the match, but Odisha's tactical coordination secured the win. Jharkhand finished the tournament with the silver medal.
