NTPC to organise Indian power stations O&M conference at Raipur
RAIPUR: NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, is set to organise the Indian power stations O&M conference from 13th to Feb 15, bringing together the power sector fraternity for three days of dialogue, learning, and collaboration. The conference will be inaugurated by Shripad Yesso Naik, Union minister of state for power and new & renewable energy, in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Power and power sector PSUs.

The theme for IPS 2026, ‘Optimising Thermal Generation with Quality & Reliability’, highlights the continued importance of thermal power in ensuring energy security and grid stability, even as India steadily advances towards a cleaner and more diversified energy mix. The three-day conference will feature technical sessions, where experts from across the sector will deliberate on operational challenges, evolving requirements, and emerging opportunities in power generation. Discussions will span a wide range of themes, including flexible plant operations, safety, asset management, water and fuel management, digital applications, efficiency improvement, and the role of new energy pathways such as nuclear, hydrogen, renewable energy, and storage solutions.
