Pune: Police found five more women from Bangladesh after raiding brothels in Budhwar Peth's red light area around 1am on Monday.
Deputy commissioner of police (Zone I) Krushikesh Rawale and his team conducted the raid in the red light area and found these illegal migrants. The women, according to the Faraskhana police, were forced into prostitution for the last three months.
The Pune city police had raided the red light area on April 28, and found 11 women and three men from Bangladesh. A minor girl from Bangladesh was also found.
The police in the last eight months have found over 90 Bangladeshi women and men residing illegally in the red light area.
