Fire breaks out in Kalyaninagar flat, leaves furniture gutted

Pune: A flat in an upscale Kalyaninagar society was gutted in a fire on Monday evening. No one was injured in the incident.A city fire brigade official said a short circuit caused the blaze in the 10th floor flat of the residential building. High flames erupted due to the furniture and other materials stored inside, and could be seen from a long distance away. A TV set, refrigerator, other electronic goods and furniture were gutted.
