Bajaj Auto has reported a decline in the sales of two-wheeleders in both its Indian and overseas markets, while its domestic commercial vehicle business has continued to recover and improve year on year. Exports over the same period have declined by around 36 to 121499 two-wheeleders earlier in the year, citing the base effect and a strong dollar as the reason for the underperformance in some export markets. However, the company has reported a decline in its commercial vehicle exports for December 2022 by around 55 annually to 11432 units in contrast, while the same for its Indian market has continued to recover from pandemic blues, improving by around 25 to 23030 units.
