Welcome ceremony held for new cadets at Sainik School Nalanda
Sainik School Nalanda welcomed 109 new cadets with a vibrant cultural program, encouraging them to embrace opportunities and build strong foundations. Meanwhile, International School celebrated its graduating Class X and XII students with a "Title Ceremony," bestowing unique accolades upon them for their achievements and personalities, marking a memorable send-off.
Patna: Sainik School Nalanda hosted a welcome ceremony at the principal’s residence (Mauryan House) for 109 newly admitted cadets (98 boys and 11 girls) of Classes VI and IX for the 2025-26 session. The event, organised on Saturday, featured a colourful cultural programme by selected cadets, including self-composed poetry, personal experiences, recitations, songs, and instrumental performances. Principal Col Bhupender Kumar motivated the cadets to utilise opportunities, build good habits, forge strong bonds, and use sports facilities. First lady of the campus Manju Kumar encouraged students to focus on their training goals. Vice-principal Lt Col Deepak Singh Thakur, staff, and families, joined the programme.Farewell ceremonyAn emotional-cum-joyful farewell party titled “Title Ceremony”, where outgoing classes X and XII students of the 2025-2026 batch of International School (ICSE wing) received unique titles celebrating their personalities and contributions. Shubh Darshil Pradhan was crowned ‘Mr International’, while Dhairya Mehta was runner-up.
Aaradhya Singh became ‘Miss International’, followed by Anusha Thakur. Nishtham Anup and Shivanshi Jha won ‘Popular Icon Boy and Girl’ respectively. Shobhit Sudarshan and Yusuf Hasan jointly claimed the ‘Best Dressed Boy’ title, while Anokhi Soni shone as ‘Best Dressed Girl’. Arnav Mishra earned ‘Star Performer of the Day’.Students were judged by teachers Vandana Sinha, Zarine Mallick, Mehwish, and guest educationist Subia Hasan. The event, which featured cultural performances, speeches and memories, was organised by juniors under the guidance of teachers on Sunday. School director Farhat Hasan praised the batch, saying they left a indelible mark and would continue to excel.
