Son of JD(U) functionary found dead in Nalanda
Biharsharif: Son of a senior JD(U) functionary was found dead in a field near his residence in Babhan Bigha village under Barbigha police station area on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sanjeet Kumar (25), son of Suresh Prasad Singh.
According to his father, Sanjeet had left home for a walk around 6.30am. Local sources said Suresh is involved in renting out land for cattle fairs in the area.
Sheikhpura SP Baliram Chaudhry said a thorough investigation is underway, examining all possible angles. He added that the exact cause of death would be ascertained after the autopsy report is received.
The SHO said the body has been sent to Sheikhpura Sadar Hospital for the postmortem.
