Jammu worker dies in accident

Patna: A 22-year-old worker from Udhampur, Jammu, died in a road accident on Patna-Bakhtiyarpur four-lane (NH-30) near Fatuha on Sunday. A white car bearing a rural works department board first rammed a parked truck and then hit Arun Kumar, who worked at a private warehouse. He later died in a hospital. The car occupants fled, abandoning the damaged vehicle. Angry locals blocked the highway with the body. Fatuha SHO Kumar Roshan pacified protesters and cleared the road. Police are searching for the absconding driver and car's occupants.
