Ara: On the 95th anniversary of the martyrdom of revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, the CPI (ML) paid heartfelt tributes to the legendary freedom fighters on Monday in Ara.
“A commemorative event was held at Karman Tola in Ara, where floral tributes were offered at the statue of
Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh,” said Chandan Kumar, a CPI (ML) leader and an office bearer of the party.
Speaking on the occasion, CPI (ML) state secretary Kunal said, “The ideals of the martyrs continue to inspire the struggles for justice, equality and democracy across the country.”
The CPI (ML) also took out a massive anti-war and anti-imperialism march in Ara on Monday. The march started from Karman Tola, passed through Mahavir Tola and the women’s college before culminating at the Nagri Pracharni auditorium.
“This conflict is not confined to one country, it poses a grave threat to global peace, economic stability and humanity at large. The race to control oil and strategic resources is further intensifying the danger of war,” said Ara MP Sudama Prasad. The CPI (ML) appealed to all democratic, progressive and peace-loving forces across the country to actively participate in the campaign and raise a united voice against war and imperialist intervention.
