Patna: A 14-year-old boy was killed by his 20-year-old brother in Muzaffarpur district on Monday over a dispute on using a cellphone. The incident occurred at Ambedkar Nagar in Sikandarpur police station area of the district.
The younger brother Manish Mandal worked at a shoe shop and was the sole breadwinner of the family after their father’s death two years ago. The accused brother, Shankar Mandal, is a drug addict and does not work. He was arrested, police said.

According to the information, the younger brother did not let his elder brother use the phone. Enraged by this, he killed the younger brother.
Town SDPO Suresh Kumar said, “The argument between two brothers turned into a violent clash, after which Shankar attacked Manish with a stick. He died on the spot.”
