Body of govt teacher found on rail track

Gaya: The body of a govt school teacher was recovered near the railway track between Belaganj and Chakand stations on the Gaya-Patna rail section on Sunday morning. The deceased, identified as Mohd Khairuddin (36) of Alipur village under Buniyadganj police station area, was posted at a primary school in Pathan Toli area of Gaya. Police said both legs of the body were tied with a towel, raising suspicion over the circumstances of death. Belaganj SHO Sunil Kumar Dwiwedi said investigators are examining the teacher’s mobile call records and other leads, while awaiting the postmortem report.
