Bihar: Thieves stab Muzaffarpur woman to death

PATNA: One Rekha Devi, 48, was killed by unidentified miscreants, who tried to take away the woman's buffalo from outside her house near Yashoda Math under Kanti police station area in Muzaffarpur district at 3am on Sunday. Her husband Mangal Sah works as a labourer in Assam.

She was asleep with her four daughters. Hearing some noise, Rekha went outside and the miscreants started beating her with sticks. Before the villagers could gather on her hearing her screams, the miscreants stabbed her and escaped. She died, DSP (West) Abhishek Anand said.
