Bar council panel to probe lawyer’s murder

Patna: Bihar State Bar Council (BSBC) has constituted a fact-finding committee to investigate the murder of advocate Jitendra Mehta in Patna.An emergency meeting was convened by BSBC chairman Ramakant Sharma, in the presence of Bar Council of India (BCI) chairman Manan Kumar Mishra and other council members.The three-member committee includes BSBC members Surya Dev Yadav, Jay Prakash Singh and advocate Neetu Jha. The panel has been tasked with gathering details surrounding the incident and submitting its findings to the council for further action.
