Baby girl drowns in water-filled bucket in Gaya

Gaya: A two-and-a-half-year-old girl died after accidentally falling into a bucket filled with water in Tajpur village under Tankuppa block of Gaya district on Wednesday.The deceased, Shanvi Kumari, daughter of Virendra Kumar, was playing inside her house when she reached near a water-filled bucket. She reportedly lost balance and fell headfirst into it. Unable to extricate herself, she suffocated to death.The incident came to light when her mother and other family members began searching for her and found the child trapped in the bucket. She was rushed to a nearby government hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
