After 6 months of marriage, Lalu's son Tej Pratap Yadav files for divorce from Aishwarya Rai

PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad's elder son Tej Pratap on Friday filed a petition in Patna civil court seeking divorce from his wife Aishwarya Rai, the granddaughter of former Bihar CM Daroga Prasad Rai.
Tej and Aishwarya had married on May 12 this year in Patna.
After filing the divorce petition, Tej left for Ranchi to meet his father Lalu Prasad who has been kept in a paying ward of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) after his conviction in a series of fodder scam cases.
In his petition, Tej Pratap has informed court that he no longer wants to remain in marriage with Aishwarya Rai. He has argued that they have compatibility issues. He has requested the court to grant him divorce.
Aishwarya is daughter of former Bihar minister Chandrika Rai.
Tej and Aishwarya had married at a grand function in Patna. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, then Bihar governor Satya Pal Malik, Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan and many other political personalities of Bihar and other states had attended their wedding ceremony and blessed the couple.
