7 iron rod thieves held in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi: Police on Monday arrested seven people involved in theft of iron rods in Sitamarhi district. The seven arrested have been identified Guddu Kumar, Bablu Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Mausam Kumar, Sachin Kumar, Rajesh Kumar and Ravindra Kumar—all residents of Sitamarhi. The police also seized a truck loaded with iron rods and six cellphones from their possession. Sadar SDPO, Ram Krishna, said they used to do recce of godowns in Feb and March at Sursand, Runnisaidpur and Riga localities and then stole the iron rods.
