Patna: Five people, mostly passengers seated in the front,ustained minor injuries after a municipal service bus’ brake failed near the Fraser Road petrol pump in the Kotwali police station area on Saturday, leading collisions. The runaway bus rammed into a parked bus from behind and also hit another vehicle. Panic gripped commuters after the crash, with passengers fleeing the bus, drawing a crowd at the spot. The driver told police that the brakes failed and he was unable to stop the vehicle. The injured were taken to hospital for first aid. Police reached the spot promptly, normalised traffic and removed the damaged vehicles. No FIR has been registered so far, said ASI Arvind Kumar Nirala.
