In Nashik div, over 2 lakh to write exams tomorrow
Nashik: More than two lakh students from across Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar districts of the Nashik division will write their SSC papers beginning Friday.Senior officers of the Nashik Divisional Board of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education said, in a bid to prevent exam malpractice such as copying, CCTV cameras have been installed in the classrooms of all 493 examination centres in the division.Senior officials said, "there will be six flying squads per district, apart from the static teams at every examination centre, to ensure there is no malpractice during exam."There will be flying squads also at the level of the divisional commissioner, district collector, deputy director of the divisional education department, district education and training institutes, secondary education officer, primary education officer, education officer (schemes), and squads of Class 1 and Class 2 women officers of the education department per district.From Nashik, 96,634 students will appear for the exam, 21,253 from Nandurbar, 59,478 from Jalgaon and 29,246 from Dhule district. In all, 1,12,845 are boys and 93,766 girls.
