YCCE students excel at NASA Space Apps Challenge
Nagpur: Students of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE) made the city proud by excelling at the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2k25, held at GH Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur.Arnav Tete and Ved Ganorkar from Computer Science (IoT) clinched the first position for their innovative project using NASA's open datasets to solve real-world problems.Another team — Kritish Bokde, Muchkundraje Thote, Prasad Hiwarkhede, and Krushna Rathod from Artificial Intelligence and Data Science — secured the third position, showcasing YCCE's strong technical talent. The winners now qualify for the international round, gaining mentorship and access to exclusive NASA resources. Their success was guided by principal Dr Uday Waghe and HoD Dr. Kavita Singh, who continue to inspire innovation at YCCE.
