Nagpur: The
Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Central Railway dealt a blow to inter-state
drug trafficking networks by seizing 25kg of narcotics valued at approximately Rs4 lakh.
On March 6, the RPF team comprising an inspector, assistant sub-inspector and two personnel spotted an individual carrying two bags during routine surveillance at Nagpur railway station. The person was detained, and a detailed search conducted in the presence of independent witnesses uncovered nine packets of ganja.

Investigation revealed that the suspect, Shahid Khan, a native of Madhya Pradesh, was transporting the drugs to Gwalior. He was arrested and handed over to the govt Railway Police (GRP) Nagpur for further investigation and legal action.
