Prez Murmu in city on April 15

Nagpur: President Droupadi Murmu will be on a two-day visit to Nagpur, where she will attend key academic and administrative events on April 15. The President will be the chief guest at the second convocation ceremony of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur, scheduled at 11am at the institute's main auditorium. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union minister of state for health Prataprao Jadhav will be among dignitaries present.Later in the evening, Murmu will attend the valedictory function of 78th batch of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) at National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT). The event, will also see governor Varma, CM Fadnavis, Union MoS for finance Pankaj Chaudhary, CBDT chairman Ravi Agrawal and NADT director-general CBN K Mathew. She will stay overnight at Raj Bhavan. On April 16, she will visit Sevagram Ashram in Wardha.TNN
