NMC bike rally on Jan 11 to boost voter turnout

Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will organise a voter awareness bike rally on Sunday, January 11, at 10am with an aim to increase the polling percentage for the civic elections on January 15. The initiative has been taken as per the directions of the State Election Commission.The rally will be flagged off from NMC headquarters and cover major junctions like Chhaoni Square, Nelsons' Square, Old Katol Naka Square, Japanese Garden Square, Law College Square, Sawarkar Square, Munje Chowk, Mokshadham Ghat Square, Jagnade Square, Telephone Exchange Square, and Mayo Hospital Square, before returning to the NMC headquarters. NMC officers and employees have been instructed to join the rally in large numbers.
