Nagpur rural police crack Rs2.4 lakh theft case in 24 hours

Nagpur: In a swift operation, the local crime branch, Nagpur rural, solved a theft case within 24 hours, arresting three suspects. On October 11, Gulshan Goplani, 49, reported that three unknown assailants on a motorcycle attacked his cargo vehicle in Dharmapuri, Aroli.The culprits beat Goplani and his driver, Rahul Patil, with an iron rod, broke the vehicle's window, and stole Rs2.4 lakh in cash.Following a parallel investigation, the police, using technical evidence, apprehended Rahul Patil, Deva Chandrikapure, and Bhagwat Verma for the crime. The trio confessed to the pre-planned conspiracy. Cops recovered Rs2.45 lakh, a motorcycle, and two mobile phones, totalling Rs3.4 lakh.
