, at Mor Hindi Bhavan.

Melodies and all-time-favourite hits of Kumar, like ‘Tu, tu hai wahi’, ‘Ek hasina thi, ‘Chod do aanchal zamana kya kahega’ and others set the mood for the evening and everyone was assured of an entertaining evening ahead. Singers Sandeep Kale, Ashwini Deoghare, Manisha Andulkar, Milonee Indapawar did full justice to the songs. The programme was organized to mark the 20th marriage anniversary of Kale.

A total of 20 songs were presented. Songs ranging from ‘Aane wala pal jaane wala hai’, ‘Aap ki aankhone me kuch’ and ‘O hansini’ to ‘Aaj rapat jaye to’ and ‘Samne ye kaun aya’ etc made the audience feel a range of emotions.

A brief background of every song was given by the anchor Kishore Galande. Along with all the musicians and singers, nine-year-old Aditya Jainikar, who hails from Aamgaon, Gondia and who also gave a performance during the programme was also felicitated after the function.

The accompanying artistes were Mahendra Dhole (keyboard), Rugved Pandey (guitar), Akshay Harle (octopod), Ashok Tokalwar (dholak) and Manish Shirbhaye (tabla). The mentor of the programme was Krushna Bhoyar.
