Nagpur: Dr Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research (DAIMSR), Deekshabhoomi, hosted the installation ceremony of its 38th MBA Batch graced by eminent dignitaries from Defence, Police, Entrepreneurship, Banking, and industry domains.
The ceremony was held at the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Auditorium on September 4, 2025.
Dr Mujahid Siddiqui, deputy director, DAIMSR, opened the ceremony with an inspiring address on the institute's journey.
Every speaker enriched the occasion by sharing experiences from their respective domains. Group Captain P Prajesh, Commanding Officer, Maintenance Command (U), Indian Air Force, drew lessons from the Kargil War, emphasising that leadership is about resilience even in emergencies.
Shashikant Chaudhary, serial entrepreneur and startup mentor, stressed the importance of time management, and teamwork in building startups while Mahak Swami, IPS, DCP, Zone III, shared her pioneering work on Operation Shakti, Maharashtra's first AI-driven campaign against human trafficking. Sahil Surana, head, BD&CE, Asia Pacific, Calderys, spoke about the importance of adaptability, cross-cultural competence, and strategic thinking in building careers beyond borders.
Vishwasakha Karemore, vice-president, HSBC, and an alumnus of the institution, stressed the long-term relevance of business analytics as a specialisation and encouraged students to integrate technology into their careers for future readiness.
The dignitaries also engaged in an interactive session, answering students' queries with practical insights that will shape their academic journey and career aspirations at the very onset of their MBA. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
