Akola: A Class 12 student fell unconscious during her state board HSC examination at a centre in Murtizapur taluka of Akola district. Taking cognisance, authorities acted swiftly and allowed her to complete the paper from a hospital.
The incident occurred on Saturday. According to officials, the student, Shreya Deshmukh, was appearing for the mathematics paper at Anantrao Deshmukh Junior College, Murtizapur examination centre when she complained of dizziness and collapsed at around 10.50am.

Staff at the centre and parents present on the premises rushed her to a nearby hospital. After her condition stabilised, exam officials reached the hospital at around 11.40am and interacted with the student. She was medically assessed and allowed to continue with the examination at the hospital itself.
The question paper and answer sheets were brought to the hospital, and the examination was conducted there in accordance as per protocol. A woman police constable was deployed during the process to ensure security and compliance with examination norms.
