Woman’s charred body found in pipe, murder case filed by Navi Mumbai police

Navi Mumbai: Police in Raigad have launched a probe into the suspected murder of an unidentifed woman after finding her charred body from inside a pipe along the concrete safety wall of the Amabenali ghat on Wednesday.The body was tracked following a foul odour. Cops after inspecting the area, suspect the woman was set on fire by using highly flammable chemicals. The Poladpur police have lodged a murder and destruction of evidence case against unknown suspects and are scanning the CCTV footage of the area.
