India’s longest sea bridge
MTHL will be the country’s longest and world’s 12th longest sea bridge, connecting South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

The proposed toll for Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) was Rs 500, based on NHAI and Bandra Worli Sea Link formulas.

MTHL spans 21.8 kilometers, with over 16 kilometers stretching over the sea, connecting Mumbai to Navi Mumbai.
Reduced commute time
Commuters can traverse between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai in just 20 minutes, enjoying signal-free connectivity.
Enhanced connectivity
MTHL aims to provide faster connectivity to Mumbai-Goa highway, Mumbai-Pune expressway, Navi Mumbai International Airport, and JNPT port.
Lighting pole on bridge
The lighting poles on the bridge are designed to withstand deep-sea weather challenges, equipped with a Central Control & Monitoring System (CCMS), corrosion-free coating, and Lightning Protection System.
Funded by JICA
The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) project primarily funded by JICA, is anticipated to significantly benefit commuters with a reduction of 15km in the distance between South Bombay and Panvel.
Economic impact
MTHL and associated projects are expected to boost Maharashtra GDP by at least 5% and the national GDP by 1%, categorizing the bridge as a game-changer.
Technological advancements
The project incorporates modern technology and is built for a lifespan of 100 years, utilizing Japanese state-of-the-art technology.
