Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis urges citizens not to panic buy petrol and diesel

Mumbai: CM Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday appealed to the people not to resort to panic buying of petrol/diesel as it disrupts the supply chain. “The centre has repeatedly said strategic stock is available and it is being supplied in proper amount. Panic disrupts the supply chain. There is no shortage. If people withdraw all money from a bank in a single day it is not able to cope as it has deployed money elsewhere. This is a similar situation. Use petrol optimally,” said Fadnavis.
