Bhiwandi: A fire broke out at a scrap godown in Bhiwandi's Fatimanagar area during the early hours of Sunday, triggering a prompt response from the fire department. According to officials, the fire control room received a call at around 4:40 am, following which two fire engines were rushed to the spot. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 6:45 am after sustained efforts. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation. Authorities are assessing the extent of damage caused to the scrap materials stored in the godown.
