MUMBAI: A 24-year-old man from
Dharavi was arrested on Monday allegedly for having performed stunts and wheelies on his bike at
Bandra
Reclamation. Police sources said
video
clips of the stunts were shot in 2016-17 and later uploaded on the app,
Tiktok
.
The traffic police pressed charges against the man, Adnan Shaikh. A police officer said that they figured from the videos that the area was Bandra Reclamation. About six months ago, officials of Bandra police station handled a similar case where an assistant director was arrested for racing.
Shaikh has appeared as a stuntman in a commercial.
A team from Bandra police station tracked down Shaikh's address to Dharavi Cross Road. They then took the help of officials from Dharavi police station to nab him. Shaikh was surprised to see the police at his doorstep as he was unaware of the FIR filed against him.
