Woman’s headless body found in Bulandshahr field; probe on
Meerut: A woman's headless body was found lying in a field in Bulandshahr's Narsena area on Sunday morning, police said. The head was later spotted 500 metres from the spot during a search operation.Police said they found "Babli" and "Juni Singh" tattooed on the right arm of the body and efforts are being made to identify the victim, who appears to be in her early 30s, through these markings.Initial investigation suggests that the murder took place at the same isolated location, as bloodstains were found scattered across a considerable distance. Cops also noted signs of a struggle at the spot.Forensic experts and a dog squad were deployed at the scene to collect evidence, while investigators began analysing mobile tower dump data from the area to track suspicious phone activity.SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh said multiple teams were formed to crack the case. "We hope that the tattoo markings will help establish the woman's identity. The body has been sent for a post-mortem."
