2 cops suspended after sleaze videos surfaces

Bijnor: A head constable and a woman constable posted at a police station in Bijnor district were suspended after several videos purportedly showing them in a compromising position surfaced online, police said.Taking cognisance of the matter, SP Abhishek Jha on Tuesday ordered a departmental inquiry into the incident. Officials said the videos were recorded inside a residence and later circulated on social media platforms.SP Jha said that both the police personnel were placed under suspension on charges of indiscipline, misconduct and tarnishing the image of the police department.According to sources, the woman constable was seen in uniform in one of the videos, while in others she was not in uniform. The head constable is married. Officials said, prima facie, the videos were recorded with mutual consent.
