Passenger killed in auto–car collision on SH
Udupi: A passenger travelling in an autorickshaw was killed after the vehicle collided with a car on the Moodubidire–Mundkur State Highway near Jarigekatte in Karkala taluk on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Srikanth.
The impact caused the autorickshaw to overturn. The passenger, Srikanth, sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to a hospital for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
The autorickshaw driver also sustained injuries in the accident. A case has been registered at Karkala Rural police station under sections 281, 125(a), and 106 of the BNS.
