80-year-old dies in road accident
Udupi: An eighty-year-old man died after a bus hit the two-wheeler he was riding near Shankattu road in Shankaranarayana police limits on Friday.
The complainant, Premanand Shetty, and the public assisted the injured and provided first aid. As a result of the accident, Basava Naik sustained injuries to his right leg, both arms, and chest. The complainant took Naik to a government hospital, where doctors declared that he had already passed away.
A case has been registered at the Shankaranarayana police station.
