Freshers welcomed

LUDHIANA: 'Ardas Diwas' marked an auspicious beginning to the new academic session at Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women on Thursday. College principal Dr Parveen Kaur Chawla touched upon the rapid progress of the college while spreading education and awareness. The students who bagged top ranks in university exams were felicitated. Shivani bagged 4th rank in university with 83.81% marks, while Shweta followed her with 83.63 % marks in B.Com I year examinations.Kusum and Neha stood first in college in BCom II and BCom III examinations, with 75% and 76.5 % marks respectively. Babita, Kavita and Manpreet stood first in BCA I, BCA II and BCA III examinations with 79.9%, 77.9 & 76.8 % marks respectively. Pooja, Shilpa Rani and Nandini Sharma bagged first rank in college in BBA I, BBA II and BBA III examinations with 73.73%, 76.06% and 79% marks respectively. Baby Rani, Pooja Rani and Rajni bagged 1st ranks in college in BA I, BA II and BA III examinations with 77%, 78% and 79.16% marks respectively.
