Rivalry leads to attack on woman pradhan's house

Lucknow: After the murder of gram pradhan Anil Kumar in

Malihabad

following a political rivalry, the supporters and husband of a gram pradhan candidiate opened fire at the house of a woman gram pradhan in Mall on Wednesday night.

According to the police,

Roli Singh

is the gram pradhan from

Badaiyaa

village of Maal. Her representative Sandeep said that some miscreants had reached Singh's house at night and started firing at it.

Roli

had contested the elections against the wife of

Ram Kumar Kashyap

of the same village this year.

"After she won the elections,

Kashyap

and his supporters turned against her and took every measure to harass her. But when they failed in their attempts,

Kasyhap

planned to attack her house. They opened four rounds of fire. The police recovered pellets from the crime scene," Sandeep claimed. He said Kashyap was with his close aide Anil and five other people. SO Maal

said, "We have recovered pellets from the house of Roli Singh. Investogatinos are on."
