Ram Mandir complete, construction companies to exit site by June 30
Ayodhya: Ram Temple Construction Committee chairman Nripendra Mishra said on Sunday that construction of the Ram Mandir has been completed, with Larsen & Toubro and Tata Consultancy Services set to withdraw from the temple premises by June 30. He said a dedicated L&T team will remain permanently stationed at the complex to oversee maintenance work.
Mishra said the main construction of the temple is finished and arrangements for darshan and pujan at all sub-temples are functioning smoothly for devotees.
He also said a 4-kilometre hi-tech boundary wall is being built to strengthen security around the temple complex, with the project targeted for completion by the end of 2026.
According to Mishra, construction of the Ram Mandir Trust office and a modern museum is underway. The museum will feature 20 galleries, including a special 7D gallery designed to give devotees an immersive experience similar to visiting the temple.
He added that façade lighting work will begin soon to enhance the temple’s appearance.
