West Bengal's Purulia will get a direct rail connectivity to Lucknow and New Delhi with the launch of new long-distance train service. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Purulia–Anand Vihar train on March 14 during his visit to West Bengal. After starting from Purulia, the train will pass through Ramgarh, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Latehar, Palamu, Garhwa, Rohtas, Kaimur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad, finally terminating at Anand Vihar.
