Step against EROs, AEROs for not uploading docus

Kolkata: The EROs/AEROs, who were responsible for not uploading the hearing documents of 1.1 lakh voters by the Feb 14 deadline, will be showcaused, a senior EC official said on Wednesday."We asked the DEOs to send a detailed report of the cases where documents were not uploaded by Feb 14. The EROs/AEROs concerned who did not upload the documents will be showcaused for dereliction of duties," the official stated."At the same time, all the eligible voters who had the appropriate documents but were not uploaded will be identified, and Form 6 (for new voters) will be sent to their homes by the BLOs," he added. tnn
