'Targeted me with vulgar remarks': Actor Srabanti Chatterjee files complaint with Kolkata Police against body-shaming

KOLKATA: Actor Srabanti Chatterjee has lodged a complaint at the cybercrime unit of Kolkata Police, saying her photos and videos were being used on social media to post obscene, body-shaming remarks and defamatory content.The actor has accused a Facebook page of uploading her images and clips from the internet, and amplifying abusive comments. The complaint seeks legal action against the account for "targeting her with vulgar remarks and causing reputational harm".The complaint follows the circulation of a video of Chatterjee dancing at a recent event. She said she was being subject to "wrong" and "baseless" comments about her weight. She said the criticism was made without context.
