Two youths killed in accident

Kottayam: Two youths were killed after their bike collided with a KSRTC bus at Cherthala in Alappuzha district on Friday. It was Cherthala natives Naveen, 24 and Sreehari, 24, who were killed. The mishap occurred around 1.30am.
The bus, which was going from Thiruvananthapuram to Malappuram, collided head-on with the bike which came from the opposite direction. Sreehari, who was driving the bike, was killed on the spot. Though Naveen was rushed to a nearby hospital, his life could not be saved. The two, who were neighbours, were intimate friends.
