Kerala Agricultural University student bags dual degree candidature

THRISSUR: Swathy AH, a doctoral student of Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) was awarded Western Sydney University (WSU) dual degree candidature with a scholarship of $30,000/year for four years. A release from KAU said on Wednesday, Swathy has completed three semesters at KAU and will be attending the remaining semesters at WSU, Australia.

After completion of the programme, she will be awarded doctoral degrees by KAU and WSU, the release said. Swathy is doing her doctoral research on Agronomic Interventions at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Trivandrum, under Dr Usha C Thomas. She will be attached to the Hawkesbury Institute of WSU for her research. TNN
